Iowa Winds

AltEnergy founded Iowa Winds in 2003. Walking corn fields, standing up met towers, negotiating land leases and providing all the start-up capital, AE took the company from conception and initial investment to a 300 MW portfolio plus pipeline. AE then sold Iowa Winds to a mid-western public utility in 2006.
